Sylvia founded Reward First People Consulting in 2004 after a succession of senior HR/reward roles at British Gas, Balfour Beatty and McCormick (global leader in its sector) where she headed up European Compensation & Benefits. She also tutors for CIPD on their Base & Variable Pay programme and is an independent non-executive director on the remuneration committee of the RICS.
Specialisms: Reward strategy, pay structures, bonus and incentive plans inc. sales incentives, executive reward, salary benchmarking.
