Steph Cutler
In 2003 Steph experienced significant sight loss which led to her no longer being able to continue in her chosen career. But being a positive person and not to be defeated, Steph set up Making Lemonade, a business that provides organisations with creating accessible recruitment and retention policies and practices, leadership progression for disabled employees and delivering disability awareness training for staff.
Her background in the highly competitive fashion industry gives Steph a commercial approach to the work she does. She draws on her previous experiences working in designing, marketing, buying and sales and is inspirational in her approach to the work she does.
Specialisms: Disability awareness training, professional speaking on disability, creating accessibility within the workplace and career progression for disabled staff.
Strengths: Approachable, practical and passionate.
Interests: Listening to talking books, random nights out with friends and family Sunday dinners.
Favourite phrase: 'If life deals you lemons... make lemonade!'
Oh and don't tell anyone but... The first record she ever bought was Paul McCartney’s ‘Frog Chorus’!
