Essential piece of legally binding paperwork that sets out the terms of a settlement reached through ACAS in the run-up to a tribunal hearing. It is essential that this is produced without delay and that it sets out the exact terms and payment date of the agreement, and is signed by both parties. ACAS will then advise the tribunal that the claim has been settled. Then all you have left to do is ensure you make the payment on time!
