Collective Agreement

An agreement with contractual effect that applies to all, or a particular section of the workforce (see also Workforce Agreement). These can either exist between the company and a trade union, or alternatively can be between employees and the company with regards usually to an aspect of the Working Time Regulations – for example, to vary the minimum daily rest periods.
